Our client, a manufacturing company based in Chippenham is currently looking recruit a Mechanical Fitter/ Mechanical Technician/Mechanical Assembly Technician to work on a long term contract.
Position : Mechanical Fitter/Mechanical Technician/Mechanical Assembly Technician.
Location Chippenham
Pay rate: £9.00 - £11.00 Paye
Hours: 8am – 4pm
Key Skills: Time served as Mechanical Fitter or mechanical trade
Able to work from Mechanical Engineering Drawings
Experience of mechanical fitting in a manufacturing environment.
Working on day shifts.
Prepared to work overtime if necessary.
The successful mechanical fitter / mechanical technician will preferably be apprenticed / time served.
You will be asked to build location cases and cabinets for the rail industry, varying from large signal boxes to smaller mechanical units.
The successful mechanical fitter will be able to work on their own or as part of a team.
You will be able to demonstrate patience and an eye for detail.
You will be happy and able to work with minimal supervision
You will benefit from a stable contract in a good team working environment.
