CNC Setter Operator - £13.50hr + Shift Allowance, Personal and Company bonuses.

Our client, a high precision component manufacturer for the aerospace and military are looking for a very highly skilled CNC milling programmer, setter, operator to join a highly skilled work force due to company expansion and a solid order book.

You will be join as very high calibre CNC Milling machinist responsible for the high value bespoke side of the business, however, you will be required to be flexible in your approach and be willing to provide support to others.

As a high profile CNC machinists you will be joining a company that takes extreme pride in its products, resulting in securing high profile contracts based upon the skilled nature of their work force and their working ethics.

Your Role:

The successful CNC programmer, setter and operator will be responsible for:

• Programming CNC milling machines
• Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
• Reading and interpreting from engineering drawings through to programming CNC milling machines
• Programming, setting and operating CNC millings machines to produce highly bespoke components for the military and aerospace industries (as well as others) in addition to machining various components varying in batch numbers.
• Those possessing Alpha Cam experience will be responsible for the offline programming and designing using this package. Training will be given on this for all other candidates.

Working Environment:

You will be working alongside a highly skilled workforce and some very passionate engineers and machinists. The management is very accessible with hands on supervisors and team leaders that will assist with any problems. The shop floor is well structured, clean and professional, one that you would associate with a company producing high precision components. The company has expansion plans in place to increase the size of the shop floor and the machining capabilities to keep up with the increase in orders.

Machines, Controls and Programming:

Hitachi Seiki
Haas
Fanuc Controls
Alpha CAM

Working Times and Pay Rates:

Day Shift – 7am to 4pm
Early Shift – 6am to 2pm
Late Shift – 2pm to 10pm

Basic Rate - £13.50hr.
Shift allowance is 25% basic rate
O/Time will be discussed at interview.
Personal bonuses are discussed on a fortnightly basis and will be related to productivity, quality of work, attendance and attitude.
Company Bonuses paid in Christmas.
