Mechanical Design Engineer – Salary £22000 - £25000

Our client a world leading Blue Chip company in Japan is looking to bring on a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer (Mechanical Design Engineer with a year or two experience) due to strong order books and company growth for its UK operation. As the successful Mechanical Design Engineer you will join a company that from the minute you walk through the door exudes passion, commitment and enthusiasm to the core fundamentals of engineering, problem solving, you will be required to have these qualities too.

My client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer that they can invest in, someone that will embody the ethos of the company. You will be responsible for the design of bespoke production technology for companies ranging from automotive through to electronics.

Requirements for the role:

 A solid understanding and working knowledge of Autocad
 Inventor knowledge would be desirable
 Mechanical Engineering degree or a degree in a similar field
 A passion to learn and to implement basic fundamentals of mechanical design
 Ability to work under pressure to deadlines and
 Customer interaction skills.
 A willingness to succeed and to push yourself.
 Ability to travel, so a current passport and clean driving licence are fundamental.
