The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC XYZ Machinist to join a well-established precision engineering company in Bristol supplying high-precision components to industries including aerospace, defence, energy and rail.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable engineering business producing precision gear and transmission components to tight tolerances.

The Role

  • Set up, program and operate CNC XYZ machining centres

  • Manufacture precision components including gears, shafts and splines

  • Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications

  • Machine parts to tight tolerances and high quality standards

  • Carry out in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment

About You

Essential Experience:

  • Experience as a CNC Machinist or XYZ Machinist

  • Strong ability to read engineering drawings

  • Experience with milling and turning operations

  • Background in precision engineering or manufacturing

  • Experience working to tight tolerances
