Contract: Permanent
Rate/Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 + 28 Days Holiday + Private Pension
Hours: Mon to Friday , Days based with flexible start time
JOB SPECIFICATION:
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer required for a well established manufacturer in Dunbar. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work independently within a hands-on role.
To apply for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role, you will need to have a strong background within any FMCG/ high volume manufacturing environment and be confident working alone. You will need to be skilled in both Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance and have a good knowledge of production machinery.
As the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance of all manufacturing machinery, which will involve an equal mix of PPM and reactive maintenance. You will be the sole engineer on site, so this role will suit candidates wanting to work independently and be happy to be accountable for the production plant when the Factory Manager is absent. There is a small production team that you will help maintain efficient and safe quality control with throughout production as well as some office responsibilities.

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role:
* Hands on role as the sole Engineer in the production plant.
* Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
* Responsible for Plant in Managers absence.
* Split between shop floor & office.
