£25,000 + Overtime at Premium Rates + 28 Days Holiday + Benefits
Monday to Friday 07:30- 16:00
Maintenance technician required for a stable manufacturing business operating within the automotive sector. They are offering comprehensive training on company specific machinery giving the successful candidate the opportunity to further develop their skill set.
The role would suit candidates who have some repair or maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. Candidates can come from a mechanical or electrical bias, though most of the work would suit mechanically minded engineers. The role may suit candidates currently working as: Maintenance Engineer/Technician, maintenance assistant, machine minder, junior engineer. Candidates who can demonstrate working knowledge of production maintenance will have a distinct advantage, although training can be given.
Working in a small maintenance team (1 other), you will be required for the repair, maintenance, and service of all machinery on site, some of which may include facilities based maintenance. It will be your job to ensure smooth running of the production facility, which will be achieved by ensuring maximum machinery uptime and output. You will be working on; hydraulics, pneumatics, hand and power tools, band saws, high and low pressure machinery and other electro-mechanical equipment.
