The Opportunity
We are working on behalf of a leading manufacturing organisation to recruit a Quality Technician to join their Supplier Quality team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a dynamic, quality-driven environment, supporting supplier performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
The Role
As a Quality Technician, you will play a key role in supporting supplier quality activities, enabling Supplier Quality Engineers to focus on strategic supplier development. You will be involved in a wide range of operational and quality-focused tasks, ensuring high standards are maintained across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Review and assess supplier PPAP submissions
Carry out PPAP system clean-up and investigations
Liaise with suppliers on quality issues, returns, and documentation
Attend supplier meetings relating to returns and non-conformances
Perform stock checks, including rework and corrective actions
Manage return-to-stock and scrap processes
Coordinate and document repair activities
Handle invoices and export documentation for supplier returns
Support packing and pallet preparation for returns and shipments
About You

Degree (or equivalent experience) in Manufacturing, Quality, Production, Electrical Engineering, or similar
Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18000) and Six Sigma tools
Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g. 8D) and statistical techniques
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
