A leading global technology organisation is seeking a Supply Chain Improvement Lead to join their high-performing team in Severn Beach, Bristol. This is a pivotal, high-visibility role offering the opportunity to drive meaningful change and influence supply chain strategy at a senior level.

Reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain and engaging with the Executive Leadership Team, you will take ownership of enhancing supply chain performance through Lean methodologies, process optimisation, and the implementation of best-in-class tools and systems.

The Opportunity

This role sits at the heart of the organisation’s operational excellence strategy. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, deliver impactful improvement projects, and play a key role in shaping the future of the supply chain function.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Define and implement best practice processes aligned to the target operating model

  • Develop and roll out a standardised supply chain playbook and toolset

  • Establish consistent reporting across:

    • Order book management

    • Shortage management

    • Cost reduction initiatives

    • Supplier performance scorecards

  • Drive ERP compliance and data accuracy across systems

  • Develop and embed a robust data governance framework

  • Identify skills gaps and implement targeted training programmes

  • Evolve and automate supply chain KPIs

  • Implement improvement governance frameworks, including visual management tools

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to prioritise and deliver improvement initiatives

About You

  • Experience within supply chain (e.g. Purchasing Manager or similar)

  • MCIPS or equivalent qualification preferred

  • Strong understanding of complex manufacturing supply chains

  • Proven experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies

  • ERP/MRP subject matter expertise with strong analytical capability

  • Demonstrated success in leading process improvement and transformation projects

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Strong leadership capability with experience driving organisational change
