Location: Eastbourne
Hours: 37 hours per week

Pay: £14.81ph
Shifts Available: Early Shift or Night Shift

We are currently recruiting Surface Mount Technicians and Electronics Assembly Operators for a leading global manufacturer based in Eastbourne. Due to increased demand, the business requires multiple operators to support production.

The Role

You will be working within a busy electronics manufacturing environment supporting production and assembly operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machines on a busy production line

  • Loading feeders with reels, sticks and trays

  • Electronic assembly and production line work

  • Hand soldering of electronic components (IPC Level 2 desirable)

  • Visual inspection and quality checking of components and soldered connections

  • Ensuring finished products meet required quality and manufacturing standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Surface Mount Technician or Electronics Assembly Operator

  • Experience operating SMT machines (programming not required)

  • Soldering experience preferred (IPC Level 2 beneficial but not essential)

  • Experience within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting

Shift Patterns (37 Hours per Week)

Early Shift

  • Monday – Thursday: 06:00 – 14:15

  • Friday: 06:00 – 12:00

  • Pay: Hourly rate + 4% shift allowance

Night Shift

  • Monday – Thursday: 22:00 – 06:15

  • Friday: 17:30 – 23:30

  • Pay: Hourly rate + 33% shift allowance
