Hours: Monday to Friday. DAYS.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
Are you experienced working in depot based roles, involving the service, inspection and repairs of mobile plant equipment or something similar?
Workshop Engineer required for a growing service provider who have a fantastic reputation within the plant industry. You will be joining a company who truly value and invest in their staff. They are looking for a team player to add to their current success.
To apply for the role, as a minimum you must have supervisory experience within a workshop environment. You will ideally transfer from mobile/construction plant background and must have experience of leading a team in a similar environment.
You will have overall responsibility for the smooth running of a small but growing workshop. You will oversee 3/4 engineers/workshop technicians and manage their workload. You will be responsible for managing/maintaining stock and ensuring that vehicles are serviced to strict deadlines. You will be responsible for goods in and goods out and the overall quality standards of work.

The Role:
*Workshop Foreman of a small but growing workshop
*Leading a small team of engineers
*Allocation of labour for the workshop
*Responsible for the overall quality of work
*Responsible for ordering stock/spares
The Person:
*Must have previous supervisory experience within a similar industry – you do not need to have been a foreman previously.
*Must have a good mechanical background
*An understanding of mobile plant, construction plant, forklifts, agricultural plant, HGV, heavy forces equipment or similar background will transfer well.
